Write to us by email or by post. Both reach the same person.
There is deliberately no contact form here
A contact form would collect and transmit your data, and would normally need a third-party script and a stored submission record to work. That would break the promise made in our cookie policy that this site collects nothing. An email address does the same job using software you already control.
This is the fastest route and the right one for editorial corrections, privacy requests and general enquiries. We aim to acknowledge within five working days. Data protection requests are answered within one month, as Article 12(3) GDPR requires.

What we can help with
- Corrections. Send the page address and, if you have it, a source. Our corrections procedure explains what happens next.
- Privacy and GDPR requests. Access, erasure, objection and the rest — see the privacy policy. In practice we hold almost nothing about you.
- Right of reply. If you are a vendor or advertiser and believe we have described your product unfairly, write in and we will look at it.
- Press, licensing and reuse. Permission to republish, and questions about the diagrams.
What we cannot help with
We are not a reseller and not a support service, so we cannot look up an order, retrieve a licence key, cancel a subscription, stop a renewal, process a refund or provide technical support for any software. Those all belong to the vendor or the retailer you bought from, and only they have access to your account. If you write to us about one of them we will tell you so, but we will not be able to resolve it.
We also do not publish a telephone number and do not operate a telephone helpline.
