Cookie policy

This site stores nothing on your device

zlatenis.online sets no cookies at all — not analytics cookies, not advertising cookies, not even a “strictly necessary” one. It writes nothing to localStorage, sessionStorage or IndexedDB, and it loads nothing from a third-party domain. Nothing is read from your device either.

Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive (2002/58/EC), implemented in the Czech Republic by Act No. 127/2005 Coll. on electronic communications, requires consent before storing information on a user’s terminal equipment or gaining access to information already stored there. The duty is triggered by the storing or the accessing.

We do neither. There is therefore nothing to consent to, and a banner asking you to consent to nothing would be theatre rather than compliance. We removed the collection instead of wrapping it in a dialogue.

This also means there is no “reject” button to look for, no preference to manage, and no consent record for us to keep — a consent record would itself be personal data we would rather not hold.

2. Verify it yourself, in about two minutes

Please do not take our word for this. Every modern browser ships with the tools to check, and you should use them on any site that makes a claim like ours.

Check for cookies and storage

  1. Open this page in Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari.
  2. Open the developer tools: F12, or Ctrl+Shift+I on Windows and Linux, or Cmd+Option+I on a Mac. In Safari you must first enable the Develop menu in Settings → Advanced.
  3. Go to the Application tab (Chrome and Edge) or Storage (Firefox and Safari).
  4. In the left-hand panel look under Cookies, Local storage, Session storage and IndexedDB, and select the entry for https://zlatenis.online.
  5. Every one of them should be empty. Reload the page and click around first if you like — they will stay empty.

Check for third-party requests

  1. In the same developer tools, open the Network tab.
  2. Reload the page with the tab open.
  3. Look at the Domain column — you may need to enable it by right-clicking the column headers.
  4. Every request should be to zlatenis.online. There should be no request to any font, analytics, CDN or advertising domain.

Check the response headers

In the Network tab, click the document request for the page itself and look at the response headers. There should be no Set-Cookie header. From a terminal you can check the same thing with curl -I https://zlatenis.online/.

3. What a browser does on its own

To be complete and accurate: your browser keeps its own HTTP cache, and may remember that this domain uses HTTPS because the server sends an HSTS header. Those are functions of your browser and of the transport layer, they contain no identifier for you, they are not readable by us, and they are not cookies. You can clear them in your browser’s settings like any other cached data.

4. When you leave for a partner site

The zero-collection promise covers this website. It cannot cover somebody else’s.

When you follow a partner link you are taken to an advertiser or an affiliate network. Those sites will almost certainly set cookies and run tracking, under their own policies, in order to attribute the sale. That happens on their domain, after you have left ours, and it is governed by their cookie and privacy notices — which are worth reading. 5. If this ever changes

If we ever introduced anything that stored or read information on your device, we would need your prior consent for it, and we would have to ask for that consent properly — with a genuine choice, with refusal as easy as acceptance, and with nothing loading until you had chosen. This page would be rewritten before any such thing shipped. There is no plan to do it.
